Caring for the elderly in Tulare
The Tulare Silvercrest Residence is an apartment complex with 60 units - 59 of which are designated as Section 8 housing. It was made possible by a non-profit sponsorship of The Salvation Army is financed under a program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The Tulare Silvercrest is covered under Project Rental Assistance Contracts for the Section 202 Program. This housing is intended for low income, elderly persons. To qualify, you must verify that your annual income is below 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) and that you are over the age of 62.
